it is based on the theme of a “Coconut Grove”. It can be reached in a few hour’s drive by road from Mumbai, Pune, Nasik and Kolhapur.
The Konkan Coastline where Ganpatipule is located is around 450 kilometers long in Maharashtra and lies to the west of Sahyadri mountain range.
Ganapatipule is approximately 375 kms away from Mumbai. A very small village, it has one of the best beaches along the Konkan Coast – a heavenly get away that attracts harmony lovers, beach lovers, and pilgrims alike. The temple of Swayambhu (self-originated) Ganesha is much frequented by the young and the old, over the years. The God is considered to be the Paschim Dwardevta (Western direction God).
Excellent Place. Superb Interiors. All rooms are very Tastefully done. Food Quality is Beyond words. A must visit for all. Missed staying here.

Ratnagiri is a port town in Maharashtra, western India. Overlooking the Arabian Sea, Ratnadurg Fort has the Bhagwati temple and a lighthouse. Northeast, a fish museum and aquarium includes turtles and a whale skeleton. Thibaw Palace was the residence of the exiled king of Burma. North of the city, Ganpatipule Temple is dedicated to Lord Ganesh. Northeast, Koyna Wildlife Sanctuary is a forested area sheltering tigers.

Thibaw Palace is in Ratnagiri city is historical building . This historical palace built in 1910-11 by the british. This palace area is about 25803 Sq. Meter. When british bring the King Thiba from Bramahadesh, they shifted him in Ratnagiri and for the King Thiba the palace is built.
Ganapatipule Ganesh Temple
One of the most visited Ganpati Temple in the Konkan region. The location of the temple on a beach makes it even more unique and delight for the visitors. The locals don’t bring Ganpati idols at the home but worship the Ganapathi at the temple.
Kavi Keshavsut Smarak
Bith Place of revolutionary Marathi Poet Krishnaji Keshav Damle alias Kavi Keshavsut. An ancestral house converted into liabrary & cultural centre.
Pawas
20 km away from the town of Ratnagiri is Pawas, a place where Swarupanand Swami took his samadhi. Affectionately known as “Appa” or “Rambhau”, Swami’s original name was Ramchandra.
Bhagwati Bunder

Jaigad Fort

Lokmanya Tilak Birth Place
Lokmanya Tilak was an Indian nationalist, journalist, teacher, social reformer, lawyer and popular leader of the Indian Independence Movement. He was born in this place and lived there till the age of 10. You can see his old photos, press clippings and various items in original used by Shri Lokmanya Tilak.

We recently had a wonderful 2-day stay at Madachya Banat in Ganpatipule, and it was nothing short of a refreshing escape! We booked 2 Super Deluxe Rooms and were thoroughly impressed right from the moment we arrived.
Property & Ambience
The property is absolutely beautiful — lush and surrounded by authentic Konkan trees that instantly transport you into nature. It is well-maintained, clean, and has a peaceful, homely vibe that is hard to find these days.
Rooms
The Super Deluxe Rooms were spotless, spacious, and excellently maintained. Everything was in perfect order, making our stay very comfortable.
Staff — The Real USP!
If there is one thing that truly sets Madachya Banat apart, it is the staff. They are polite, warm, and incredibly helpful. The room service was prompt and attentive. Honestly, the staff alone is reason enough to come back!
Location
The location is a big plus, Ganpatipule Temple is just 3.5 km away, and a peaceful, clean Mulund Beach is within walking distance. The beach is not crowded, making it perfect for a quiet stroll. For the adventure lovers, there is also paramotoring available right on the beach!
Food
The food was good with generous portions. The vegetarian menu deserves a full 5/5 delicious and wholesome. The seafood, however, was slightly underwhelming and I would rate it 3.5/5 the only minor disappointment in an otherwise perfect stay.
Overall, Madachya Banat is a must-visit for anyone looking for a peaceful Konkan getaway with great hospitality. Highly recommended! 🌴

Had a wonderful stay at this resort! The ambience was very good and the property is spacious. Rooms were clean and well-maintained. Madgund Beach is just a 2-minute walk, which was very convenient. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. Breakfast had many tasty options to choose from. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended!”

A quite but well maintained resort at Malgund near Ganpatipule. It has a multicuisine restaurant serving indian, chinese menu. Well equipped rooms, courteous staff is their plus point.

Madachya Banat Property is truly one of the best properties in Malgund. The location is perfect—just a 2-minute walk from Malgund Beach, making it extremely convenient and peaceful at the same time.
The property is well-maintained, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The food and breakfast are excellent, served fresh with great quality and taste. Special mention to the owner and staff—they are highly professional, polite, and ethical, making the stay comfortable and welcoming.
A must-visit property. You will never regret choosing Madachya Banat for your stay in Malgund. Highly recommended!

Madyachya Banat stay for 2 days was awesome. The food is very tasty and the overall hospitality was great and very quick. At our request they even arranged for a bonfire. The location is great just a 5 minutes walking distance from malgund beach and 10 mins in car to Ganpati pule temple and beach. The whole family running this resort are very nice and kind. I wish I had booked my 31st also with them. But both 29th and 30th were great at this resort. As requested baby food was also provided for my toddler. Many Thanks to All the Team.

Place: Totally Relaxing Location.
Service: Good hospitality. Homely atmosphere and service.
Rooms: Neat and clean rooms.
Food: The food segment is full of delicious veg and nonveg cuisines.

We were 13 Senior Citizens and booked 6 rooms for 2 nights. Rooms are very well maintained neat & clean and comfortable. Food was excellent, very tasty . Staff is very humble & very co operative. It was the Bestest holiday for us. And above all the owner is also very co operative. PERFECT PLACE TO RELAX.

Is a fantastic place to spend your time. The resort has ample space for play and spend time. The beach is at a very close distance and is clean. Lot of watersport activities are available on the beach.
The rooms are very spacious and clean. The washrooms are very clean and there is 24 hours hot water.
The food quality is superb and tasty too. I happened to be on my birthday and as a courtesy they gave me complimentary starter too. The breakfast provided has a touch of home made food which makes it even more mouth watering.
Lastly the owners are always there for any help required. I truly enjoyed my stay and will be back

Very cooperative staff, nice rooms, very clean bathrooms. The stay was very pleasant. Sea very close by, just after crossing the road. The sea shore is not so clean. The natural surrounding is pleasing to eyes.

Went for 2 days stay with Family.
Beach is just in front of property. That's good.
Certainly some maintenance is required and also limited items for Veg food in menu.

The property is located bang opposite scenic Malgund beach....The property is also very neat and well maintained. The only suggestion is to improve the food options and the taste significantly. The breakfast also needs to have more items. All in all, a fantastic option for 2 to 3 days getaway.
